Today’s video of the day is MDMC – "Dark Side" released in 2025.

“Dark Side” is the latest single from the electronic artist MDMC, released on February 28, 2025. Known for blending pulsing dance rhythms with emotional depth, MDMC delivers a song that dives into the tension between light and shadow. The lyrics explore embracing life’s darker moments, finding power within struggle, and surrendering to temptation. This single continues MDMC’s evolution as a voice of modern electronic expression, balancing intensity with melody.

The song appears on the album Shattered Glow, a record that captures MDMC’s ongoing journey through contrast and self-discovery. Shattered Glow follows the acclaimed Electric Faith, expanding on themes of vulnerability, transformation, and human emotion in digital times. “Dark Side” stands out as one of the album’s most introspective yet energetic tracks, merging darkwave textures with a driving club pulse. Its sound reflects both an internal battle and a celebration of self-acceptance.

Filmed in the open countryside, the video for “Dark Side” mirrors the song’s emotional duality. MDMC described the shoot as a refreshing escape from long studio sessions. The natural setting contrasts beautifully with the song’s electronic edge, symbolizing clarity found amid chaos. As the camera moves between light and shadow, it visualizes the message at the core of MDMC’s music—strength through contrast. With “Dark Side,” MDMC continues to define their place in the global electronic scene, uniting introspection with irresistible rhythm.
