Today’s video of the day is Ext!ze – “80s Were Better” released in 2025.

The new video for “80s Were Better” by Ext!ze is a wild retro ride into neon nostalgia. This high-energy single comes from their 2025 album DeLorean 666. It blends darkwave, hellektro, and 80s vibes into one explosive track. The video captures everything fans love about the 80s. Think VHS fuzz, neon lights, arcade games, and vintage fashion. With flashing visuals and pulsing beats, it’s a perfect tribute to the era of Marty McFly and Duran Duran. But this isn’t just a copy of the past—Ext!ze twists it into something fresh and fiery.

DeLorean 666 continues Ext!ze’s legacy of high-impact electronic music. This album follows their signature style seen in earlier releases like Electronic Revolt and Redneck Industrial. However, it dives deeper into retro aesthetics, offering a strong dose of synth nostalgia. The band began in 2007 as a solo project by Cyb3rella. Soon, Cyb3rSlut joined on drums, followed by Ionic Matrix on keyboards. DJ Barus came later, adding sampling and live mixing. Together, they formed a powerful, genre-bending unit that dominates clubs across France and Germany.

“80s Were Better” shows how Ext!ze evolves while staying true to their roots. The song combines trance, industrial, and electro in a sound that sets dancefloors on fire. Yet it adds a fun, nostalgic twist not heard in earlier tracks like “Hellektrostar” or “Poser.” The video feels like a direct hit from cyberspace. Colorful, chaotic, and packed with energy, it invites you to step into their wild, grotesque world. Ext!ze don’t ask you to choose between the red pill or the blue pill. They are the pill—and once you’re in, there’s no turning back. Press play, turn up the volume, and relive the decade where everything felt good. This is not just a song. It’s a ride through time, and it’s only the beginning of what DeLorean 666 has to offer.
