Today’s video of the day is Juno Reactor – “Our World” released in 2018.

Juno Reactor, a multinational music project, has consistently pushed musical boundaries. Based in Brighton, UK, the group fuses electronic beats, global influences, and symphonic orchestration. Led by Ben Watkins, Juno Reactor collaborates with artists worldwide, including Amampondo, Sugizo, and Budgie. The song Our World features on the 2018 album The Mutant Theatre. This album highlights the group’s evolution, incorporating vibrant global elements and theatrical flair. The record reflects the live show “Juno Reactor & The Mutant Theatre,” which debuted at the Ozora Festival in 2016. The project combines music, dance, and visuals to create an immersive experience.

Released as a single in 2017, Our World captures the cinematic essence of Juno Reactor. The track blends electronic rhythms with world music influences, a hallmark of their style since the 1997 album Bible of Dreams. This approach redefined their sound, moving from pure trance to a tribal, cinematic vibe. Juno Reactor’s journey began in 1990 as an experimental art project. Their debut album, Transmissions, released in 1993, focused on electronic trance. Albums like Shango and Labyrinth followed, showcasing collaborations with musicians like Steve Stevens and Taiko drummers Gocoo. Tracks from these albums also appeared in films like The Matrix.

The Mutant Theatre continues the band’s legacy of innovation. Its theatrical soundscape expands on their earlier work in The Golden Sun of the Great East. The album’s dynamic nature ensures Juno Reactor remains at the forefront of electronic music. Juno Reactor thrives on creativity and collaboration. Their groundbreaking music crosses genres and cultures, resonating with fans worldwide.
