Xenturion Prime - Rise - Stigmata Video Dance Party

Today’s video of the day is Xenturion Prime – “Rise” released in 2013.

Xenturion Prime emerged in 2013, formed by Bjørn Marius Borg and Hasse Mattsson after the disbandment of Code 64. Their goal was to create powerful electronic music that transcends genres. They coined their unique style as Powersynth, blending elements of electronic industrial, synthpop, EDM, and orchestral soundscapes. The song “Rise,” released in 2014, is part of their debut album Mecha Rising. This album set the tone for Xenturion Prime’s sound—futuristic yet rooted in the past. “Rise” stands out with its epic energy and emotional depth, representing the band’s ambition to push electronic music boundaries.

Mecha Rising is a landmark album that showcases the band’s ability to blend hard-hitting beats with melodic undertones. The album reflects their versatility, moving seamlessly from intense tracks to more reflective pieces. “Rise” exemplifies their style, with its combination of orchestral elements and driving electronic beats. Compared to their later albums, such as Humanity Plus (2018), Mecha Rising has a more raw and experimental feel. However, the themes of hope, resilience, and futuristic visions that began with “Rise” continue to influence their work. Each album builds on the foundation laid by Mecha Rising, showing the band’s evolution while maintaining their core sound. Xenturion Prime’s music is not just about the present; it connects deeply with the past while looking toward the future. “Rise” and the Mecha Rising album capture this essence, making them timeless pieces in the Powersynth genre.

In conclusion, “Rise” by Xenturion Prime is more than just a song—it’s a powerful statement of the band’s vision. The track, along with the entire Mecha Rising album, marks the beginning of their journey in electronic music, blending various influences into one cohesive, ambitious sound.
