Today’s video of the day is Buzz Kull – "Just a Memory" released in 2025.

Buzz Kull returned with "Just a Memory" in December 2025. The song blends darkwave, EBM, and cold electronic textures into a haunting experience. Moreover, the video matches the track’s bleak atmosphere with striking visuals. Buzz Kull is the solo project of Sydney producer Marc Dwyer. Over the years, he has earned a strong following through hypnotic rhythms and emotionally charged songwriting. Therefore, "Just a Memory" continues the sound that has defined his growing reputation in the modern dark electronic scene.

The song appears on the 2026 EP Deep Hate, released through Heartworm Press. Furthermore, it stands as one of the record’s emotional highlights. While the EP explores isolation and inner conflict, "Just a Memory" captures those themes with memorable melodies and driving beats. In addition, it builds naturally on the foundations established by earlier releases, including Chroma and Fascination. However, the production feels sharper and more refined. As a result, the track bridges Buzz Kull’s post-punk influences with a heavier EBM pulse while pushing his sound into darker territory.

The video gives the song even greater impact. Meanwhile, its moody imagery reinforces the feelings of loss and reflection found in the lyrics. Fans of darkwave, synth-driven music, and industrial electronics will find plenty to enjoy. Likewise, longtime listeners will recognize the project’s signature balance of melody and tension. Ultimately, "Just a Memory" proves that Buzz Kull continues to evolve without losing the style that made his music stand out. Consequently, the single offers an excellent introduction to Deep Hate while confirming Marc Dwyer’s place among today’s most compelling dark electronic artists.
