Today’s video of the day is Revolting Cocks – "Stainless Steel Providers" released in 1989.

Revolting Cocks pushed industrial rock into louder and more rebellious territory with “Stainless Steel Providers” in 1989. The song first appeared as a single before joining the band’s second studio album, Beers, Steers, and Queers, released in 1990. Its pounding rhythms, distorted guitars, and electronic beats created an unmistakable sound. Moreover, the lineup featured industrial legends Al Jourgensen, Paul Barker, Chris Connelly, Bill Rieflin, and Luc Van Acker. Together, they delivered a track that remains a favorite among industrial music fans.

Revolting Cocks formed in the mid-1980s as a collaboration between Luc Van Acker, Richard 23 of Front 242, and Al Jourgensen of Ministry. As a result, the project blended American industrial aggression with Belgian electronic influences. "Stainless Steel Providers" perfectly captures that formula. Furthermore, the song reflects the heavier direction of Beers, Steers, and Queers. While their debut album, Big Sexy Land, leaned toward experimental electronic sounds, the second album embraced a stronger rock edge. Consequently, it helped define the band’s signature style and influenced many later industrial rock acts.

This video captures the chaotic energy that made Revolting Cocks stand out during the late 1980s. In addition, it matches the song’s relentless pace and confrontational attitude. Fans of Ministry, Front 242, and classic Wax Trax!-era industrial will immediately recognize its impact. Even today, "Stainless Steel Providers" remains an essential chapter in the band’s catalog. Therefore, it continues to showcase the fearless creativity that connects Big Sexy Land, Beers, Steers, and Queers, and later releases, proving why Revolting Cocks remain one of industrial music’s most influential supergroups.
