Today’s video of the day is Voicecoil – “Vision” released in 2013.

Voicecoil, a Denver-based electronic dance project, released the official video for their song "Vision" in 2013. The track is part of their debut album, Awakened. This album showcases their commitment to the Futurepop genre, drawing inspiration from early 2000s acts like Colony 5 and Glis. Founded in 2014 by Mark Sousa, Voicecoil quickly gained attention in the electronic music scene.

Sousa’s previous successes with Synapse and Machinegun Symphony contributed to the project’s rapid recognition. Voicecoil’s polished sound is often compared to bands like Neuroticfish and VNV Nation. Their music features layered synthesizers and clean vocals, creating an emotionally evocative dance experience. Awakened set the tone for Voicecoil’s musical journey. The album’s melodic and catchy tracks established their presence in the Futurepop revival. Following Awakened, Voicecoil released two more full-length albums, each reflecting their evolving sound while maintaining their genre roots. They have toured across the US, Canada, and the UK, earning spots on various Industrial and Synthpop top 100 lists. The "Vision" video encapsulates Voicecoil’s aesthetic and musical style. It offers a visual representation of their dedication to creating engaging electronic dance music. The video’s release marked a significant moment in their early career, aligning with their goal to produce emotionally resonant tracks.

In summary, Voicecoil’s "Vision" video from 2013 highlights the project’s dedication to the Futurepop genre. Their debut album, Awakened, laid the foundation for their subsequent works, each contributing to their reputation as a notable act in the electronic music scene.
