Today’s video of the day is Scheuber – “Human” released in 2016.

Dirk Scheuber has revisited his song “Human” with a fresh 2024 version and a captivating video. The song, originally released in 2016 on his debut solo album The Me I See, has taken on a renewed emotional depth. The updated version highlights Scheuber’s growth as a solo artist. Scheuber, born on October 24, 1969, gained fame as the keyboardist for Project Pitchfork. He was a key member of the band for decades, contributing to their influential sound. In February 2021, Scheuber left Project Pitchfork to focus on his solo work and other creative pursuits. His departure marked the beginning of a new chapter.

The Me I See showcased Scheuber’s introspective style and electronic mastery. Songs like “Human” stood out with their haunting melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. The album set the stage for his follow-up releases, including Changes and Shades. Each record expanded on his themes of personal transformation and emotional exploration. The 2024 version of “Human” connects to this artistic journey. It blends his earlier emotive sound with polished production and new layers of meaning. Fans of his previous solo work will recognize his signature style, but the updated version offers a modern edge.

The music video amplifies the song’s impact. Its striking visuals reflect the song’s themes of identity and vulnerability. Scheuber’s attention to detail ensures the video feels both intimate and cinematic. This creative effort demonstrates his continued dedication to innovation. Scheuber has also started a new project called Blackhead. While details remain scarce, it promises to explore fresh creative territory. This project signals his desire to evolve as an artist. “Human” connects his past with his future. It nods to his beginnings while hinting at what’s ahead.
