Today’s video of the day is the video of goneMUNE Amnesia released in 2025.

goneMUNE continues to push the boundaries of dark alternative pop with “Amnesia,” released in 2025. The Singapore-based project has earned a loyal following across Southeast Asia through emotional storytelling and cinematic production. Moreover, goneMUNE blends retro synthwave with futuristic electronic sounds to create a unique identity. “Amnesia” explores grief, loneliness, and resilience while introducing Averdonia, a cyborg searching for humanity. As a result, the song delivers both emotional depth and immersive world-building. The accompanying video expands this story with striking visuals and a mysterious atmosphere.

“Amnesia” appears on the forthcoming concept album Averdonia. Furthermore, it serves as the gateway into the record’s larger narrative. After being created by a troubled scientist, Averdonia wanders the world in search of emotion and purpose. However, everything changes after meeting a mysterious figure hidden behind a bandaged mask. Their connection becomes central to the unfolding story. Therefore, “Amnesia” establishes the emotional foundation for the album while introducing its futuristic setting and recurring themes of memory, identity, and hope.

goneMUNE has built a reputation for combining deeply personal themes with bold electronic production. Likewise, each release expands the project’s artistic vision while remaining emotionally honest. Earlier songs focused on trauma recovery, healing, and self-discovery. In contrast, Averdonia broadens those ideas through a cinematic science fiction narrative. Nevertheless, the heartfelt songwriting remains at the core of the music. Consequently, “Amnesia” feels like a natural evolution rather than a departure. It marks an exciting new chapter for goneMUNE while inviting listeners into an unforgettable universe where technology and emotion collide.
