Today’s video of the day is Laibach feat. Wiyaala – "Allgorhythm" released in 2026.

Laibach return with bold intent in “Allgorhythm,” featuring Wiyaala. The track leads their upcoming album MUSICK, due May 1, 2026 via Mute Records. Moreover, it marks their first album of original material in 12 years, following Spectre. Formed in 1980 in Trbovlje, Slovenia, Laibach built a reputation for industrial sounds and political theater. Over the decades, they challenged ideology, nationalism, and pop culture. However, “Allgorhythm” shifts direction. Instead of harsh industrial textures, the band embraces sleek dance-pop production. As a result, this era feels daring yet calculated.

Musically, “Allgorhythm” blends club-ready beats with Wiyaala’s organic vocal power. Her presence adds warmth and urgency. Meanwhile, producers Richard X and Luka Jamnik shape a polished, modern sound. Consequently, the song feels both accessible and subversive. Lyrically, Laibach confront digital dependence. They question how algorithms shape identity and culture. Therefore, the track reflects today’s AI-driven landscape. Notably, Slovenia briefly considered the song for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. However, the national broadcaster withdrew. Even so, the Eurovision connection highlights the band’s unexpected pop reach.

Importantly, “Allgorhythm” signals the tone of MUSICK. The album explores J-Pop, K-Pop, and electronic dance forms. Yet it still carries Laibach’s conceptual edge. In contrast to the militant textures of Opus Dei or the sharp politics of Spectre, this release feels brighter but equally critical. Thus, Laibach evolve without abandoning their identity. Furthermore, the Laibach Musik Tour begins May 18, 2026, in Graz, Austria. Ultimately, “Allgorhythm” proves Laibach remain fearless. They adapt to the algorithmic age. And they do it on their own terms.
