Today’s video of the day is Dancing Plaugue – "Veins" released in 2025.

Dancing Plague returns in 2025 with the striking video for “Veins,” a centerpiece of the new album Domain. The project, led by musician Conor Knowles, has evolved steadily since its beginnings in Spokane, Washington. Known for blending darkwave, industrial, and EBM textures, Dancing Plague has built a reputation for raw emotion and relentless sound. “Veins” captures the essence of Domain. Released on Artoffact Records, the album explores identity, loss, and disillusionment. The song pulses with distorted synths and crushing beats. Its vocals waver between rage and vulnerability, making it one of the most intense tracks on the record.

The video expands on these themes with stark, atmospheric visuals. It mirrors the feelings of collapse and self-alienation that define the album. Viewers are pulled into an unsettling world where numbness and despair confront the search for meaning. Compared to earlier releases like Pure Desperation and Eros/Anteros, Domain pushes further into sonic aggression. While past albums balanced melancholy with melody, Domain bleeds urgency and raw confrontation. “Veins” stands at the center of that shift, marking Dancing Plague’s boldest statement yet.

Still, the album does not abandon introspection. Songs such as “Impostor” and “Bitter Taste” continue the project’s tradition of pairing emotional vulnerability with heavy electronics. In this way, Domain ties back to the earlier catalog while carving a sharper, darker edge. “Veins” ultimately shows Dancing Plague at a new creative peak. The video and track both highlight an artist unafraid to expose inner turmoil through sound and vision. For longtime fans, it is the natural next step. For new listeners, it is a searing introduction to one of the most uncompromising voices in modern dark electronic music.
